Wedding planning - Unnecessary or neccesary
There is currently a lot of criticism on social media about resort weddings and the exorbitant costs involved. As an event professional and wedding planner, I would like to point out a few things.
First of all, such posts are spread only by some specific people in the Marathi Community. First of all, everyone wants the wedding ceremony to be beautiful from the beginning according to the need of the time. Marathi people were in jobs first, so their circle was limited. I remember when I was 6th or 7th grade, a wedding of a non Marathi community in our colony was held in the Ashok Hotel in Aurangabad. My parents had scolded me not to eat and behave like a greedy person. Earlier, marriages in Marathi community were also limited. Earlier, we used to hear names like Malhotra, Singhania, Jain in films too. In the film Hum Aapke Hai Kaun in 1994-1995, we saw how a wedding should be and everyone enjoyed it. Then, shoe stealing and music gradually entered the wedding ceremony.
Now, Marathi society has come into business. In the culture of Cosmopolitan, friends from other communities increased, earning capacity also increased and in their wedding ceremony The excitement has increased.. Earlier there were 8-10 children, now there are 1-2 children.. in wedding planning Pinterest, Instagram, Google have been added to it..
Now the issue comes to the expenses involved in marriage and its management.. First of all, wedding planning is a big business.. Slowly now it is becoming an industry.. In India, 1.5 crore marriages are held every year.. There is a huge turnover of 40 lakh crores in this field.. Some of the things that are currently trending in wedding ceremonies are.. entry of the bride & groom, tattoos, games, carnival, themes, music, in catering.. Pizza, pasta, kulfi, chaat, Lebanese, Italian etc.. But one thing that critics forget is that.. All of them are getting a job.. Today, artists like pani puri, tattoos, anchors, dancers and these get honorarium,, .. Their houses run.. A wedding ceremony requires 60-70 services.. If we consider a family of 4 for one service, then the livelihood of about 400 people is based on this.. Now look and decide whether destination wedding, resort wedding, is profitable or not.. Our beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi also promotes the concept of Wed in India.. Our IMA President Samit Garg.. goes even further and implements the concept of Wed in India and Spend in India...
Now, getting married on loan and building a house on loan, buying a car, traveling abroad are all bad.. But whoever can afford it will do it... Criticising a good profession in the society is not befitting for these decent people,, but if you take the help of a real wedding planner, unnecessary expenses will definitely be curbed.
