Lockdown wedding ! Avoid
Dear patrons
Greetings ! This article is my personal opinion
#Lockdownwedding is not Good idea .. unless we welcome our guest by hugging them it’s not wedding in India
Elders & younger are the heart of weddings & they are not allowed .. wedding is not life & death situation .. it can be postponed .. corona is temporary & within few months it will vanish
I have observed 2 major things behind this #Lockdownwedding
1. Saving money
2. Someone is really unwell in the family & wants to see wedding is done
Any of the above reasons are personal & I m no one to talk on this
Imagine once the pandemic is over & other weddings will be celebrated as it’s need to be celebrated then probably #Lockdownwedding couple May regret
Hotel , travel , tourism & events these are the industries are badly impacted in this #Covid19 pandemic situation .. I m also badly impacted financially .. still for betterment of everyone .. Say NO TO #Lockdownwedding
We can’t shake hands with our own family members , we can’t hug them , we can’t seat near & gossip , we can’t celebrate buffet , round table seating is not allowed , we need to wear mask as if we are in hospital , we are fearful & full of anxiety which reflects in photos , even we can’t give cards & also gifts .. there are certain vendors we even don’t know where are they from etc etc
One more things “ wedding is life time events , there are no retakes ©️“
Do you think this is called “ Wedding” ?

Wedding is one of the most cherished event not only for the couple who are getting into wedlock, but also for the parents of the bride as well as the groom. Each parent has dreams of how they would want to see their daughter or son getting married. By getting married during lockdown, the complete essence of this get together of families and friends is knocked off. However as you have already mentioned, it's a personal choice and circumstances which may force otherwise.
ReplyDeleteGiven a choice , I too would wait for the lockdown to get over and hope to see a normal wedding , which involves a an enjoyable and life time event for all.
